Rootophia was built from a simple goal: to provide high-quality, welfare-first care that helps dogs feel safe, confident, and happy.
The business began with dog walking and quickly grew through strong local demand and word-of-mouth recommendations. As more owners trusted us with their dogs, we expanded our services to meet the needs we were seeing every day — from active dogs needing structured exercise, to nervous dogs needing patient support, to seniors who benefit from gentle, joint-friendly movement.
To offer dogs more than a standard walk, we developed our Adventure Play sessions in a safe, secure outdoor space where dogs can run, explore, socialise appropriately, and enjoy enrichment. Sessions are structured, supervised, and designed around welfare, confidence-building, and safe group management.
We later launched Swim Rootophia — an indoor heated dog swimming pool created to support fitness, confidence, and low-impact exercise. Swimming is ideal for dogs who benefit from warm-water movement (including senior dogs and those needing joint-friendly activity), and it also provides a safe indoor option during hot weather or when outdoor conditions aren’t suitable.
Most recently, we introduced Rootophia Daycare — a calm, structured environment built around routine, enrichment, rest, and carefully managed social time. Daycare is designed to support dogs who thrive on consistency and positive experiences, with welfare-led care at the centre of everything we do.
