A daycare assessment sounds formal, but it is really just a relaxed first visit. Its purpose is to make sure your dog feels comfortable and that daycare is genuinely right for them โ with no pressure to commit.
Getting to know your dog
We start by learning about your dog: their personality, routine, likes, dislikes and any worries. This helps us decide which small group will suit them best.
A gentle introduction
Your dog is introduced calmly and at their own pace. We watch how they greet other dogs, explore the space and settle, so we can build a picture of how they will enjoy their days with us.
Practical checks
We confirm vaccinations, discuss feeding, and note anything we need to know to keep your dog safe and happy. Assessments are free and there is never any obligation.
After the assessment
We will talk through how your dog got on and suggest a plan โ whether that is half days, full days or building up gradually.
