How does the grooming credit work?
The amount shown in your plan is a credit towards your chosen Rootophia Groom service. Because grooming prices vary according to size, breed, coat type, coat condition and the service required, the plan does not promise one fixed groom.
If your chosen groom costs more than the credit included in your plan, you simply pay the remaining balance.
Example: If your plan contains £40 grooming credit and your chosen groom costs £61, the remaining balance will be £21.

How your Wellness Plan works
- Your plan is a set of prepaid service credits for daycare, swimming and grooming — it is not an automatic booking.
- After purchase, our team sets up your credits against your named dog, confirms your purchase and sends booking instructions.
- Appointments are arranged through our existing daycare, swim and grooming booking channels and remain subject to availability.
- Plans last six weeks from purchase, and we send a reminder around seven days before your plan ends.
- A credit is only used once an appointment is confirmed, and it is returned if Rootophia cancels an appointment.
Daycare capacity: Our daycare capacity is carefully limited to protect every dog’s safety, comfort and individual care. A Wellness Plan does not guarantee a particular date, so we recommend booking preferred daycare days in advance. Every daycare booking uses our shared daycare availability system and we never exceed our maximum of 30 dogs on site at any overlapping time.

Wellness Plan Terms

- All Wellness Plans are valid for six weeks from the date of purchase.
- Included services must normally be booked and used before the expiry date.
- Packages are for one named dog and cannot be shared between dogs, owners or households.
- Buying a package does not guarantee specific appointment dates.
- All services remain subject to availability.
- Doggy daycare is only available to dogs that have completed and passed a Rootophia daycare assessment.
- Rootophia will never exceed its maximum daycare capacity of 30 dogs at an overlapping time.
- Grooming credit may be used towards eligible Rootophia Groom services.
- Customers must pay any grooming balance remaining after the package credit is applied.
- Grooming prices may increase where additional time, matting, fleas, ticks, difficult behaviour or specialist coat work is involved.
- Included swimming sessions are private 30-minute owner swim appointments.
- Customers wishing to upgrade to a staff-assisted swim must pay the applicable price difference.
- All standard daycare, pool, grooming, welfare, health and cancellation policies continue to apply.
- Credits have no cash value and cannot be exchanged for cash.
- Credits cannot be transferred to another dog or used for unrelated services.
- Missed appointments and late cancellations may result in the relevant credit being deducted in accordance with Rootophia’s normal cancellation policy.
- Credits will be returned or extended if Rootophia cancels the appointment.
- Rootophia may refuse or stop any service where it would be unsafe, unsuitable or detrimental to the dog’s welfare.
- Saturday daycare is not included as standard. Customers may request a Saturday booking and pay the difference from the weekday rate where availability permits.
- Grooming appointments may be booked during the active six-week period. If Rootophia cannot offer a suitable grooming appointment within that period, the credit may be applied to the first suitable appointment offered by Rootophia after expiry.

Frequently Asked Questions
What happens if daycare is fully booked?
Your credit will remain available, but you will need to select another available date. Purchasing a plan does not override our 30-dog capacity.
Can I share a plan between two dogs?
No. Each plan belongs to one named dog. A separate plan is required for each dog.
Does the grooming credit pay for the whole groom?
It depends on your chosen service. The credit is deducted from the grooming price and you pay any remaining balance.
Can I book a staff-assisted swim?
Yes. The plans include owner-assisted swimming, but you can upgrade by paying the difference.
Can I use the daycare credit on a Saturday?
Weekday daycare is included. Saturday may be requested subject to availability, with the difference in price payable.
Can I extend my package?
Packages normally expire after six weeks. Extensions are only provided at Rootophia’s discretion or when Rootophia has cancelled an appointment.
